Willmar, Minn. – According to officials at the Minnesota Department of Transportation office in Willmar, the Trunk Highway 7 beltline in Montevideo will receive improved highway lighting at three intersections.

Beginning Monday (August 14) crews will remove the existing poles and lights and replace with new poles and brighter lighting at Oak Avenue, T.H. 29 and First Street. According to Jeff Vlaminck, region engineer, the lighting is being updated to new standards. No traffic delays are anticipated.

Weather permitting, Mn/DOT anticipates that the project will be completed in September.
