HIGHWAY
212 BETWEEN MONTEVIDEO AND GRANITE FALLS TO OPEN ON JULY 26
Willmar,
Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation office in Willmar
announces that weather permitting, the striping operations on Highway
212 between Montevideo and Granite Falls will be completed on Tuesday,
July 25, and the roadway will open to traffic on Wednesday, July
26.
The
highway has been closed since April 24 due to an improvement project
that included mill and overlay, construction of turn lanes, edge
drains and culvert replacements between junction U.S. 59 in Montevideo
and junction Trunk Highway 67 west of Granite Falls.
According
to Mn/DOT officials, crews will still be the area working on plantings.
Motorists are advised to slow down for their safety and the safety
of our workers.

$2,439,000 project.
