HIGHWAY 15 NORTH OF DASSEL PROJECT UPDATE

Willmar, Minn. – According to officials at the Minnesota Department of Transportation office in Hutchinson, construction crews completed mainline paving on Monday (July 10) and will complete paving side roads Thursday on Trunk Highway 15 between Dassel and Kimball

According to David Rylee, Mn/DOT project engineer, crews will be completing aggregate shoulders and turf establishment the week of July 17.

Weather permitting, he anticipates that construction will be completed by July 21. Motorists are reminded that crews are still present and to slow down for their safety and the safety of the construction workers

The traveling public comprises 98% of all deaths in work zone crashes. Inattentiveness and driving too fast continues to be the most common factor in these crashes. While traveling this summer, you will encounter roadway work zone areas. Pay attention to work zones, slow down and be prepared.

Bauerly Bros., Sauk Rapids, Minn., is the prime contractor for the $2,060,000 project.
