Project status

MnDOT has revised the plans to build the Highway 14/41 project in North Mankato. MnDOT will build the project in two phases and complete it in the same time period (2012-13).

Detour set for 2012

Nicollet County Road 41 will close at the intersection with Highway 14 in North Mankato on Friday, May 11, as work progresses on the Highway 14 construction project.

Local traffic can use Pleasant View Drive in North Mankato to access County Road 41. A short bypass was built to connect Pleasant View Drive and County Road 41 until the new interchange is built.

No Highway 14 detour is anticipated until June. The Highway 14 detour will include County Road 6, County Road 77 and County Road 13/Lookout Drive. The detour will be in place until late summer or fall.

The detour for the 2012 construction season will use Nicollet County Road 6 and Lookout Drive (map).
