MN/DOT APPOINTS HUSEBY AS DISTRICT ENGINEER AT MANKATOMANKATO, Minn. C Jon Huseby, an assistant district engineer with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) at Willmar, was appointed as district engineer at Mankato. He succeeds Jim Swanson who was recently promoted as the department=s assistant chief engineer and director of program delivery. Huseby=s appointment becomes effective January 3. In his new position, he will manage transportation planning, construction, and administration for Mn/DOT in the 13-county region the Mankato and Windom District serves. Huseby has served in his current post at Willmar managing activities such as design, traffic, land use management and materials testing since March, 1998. He served in a similar capacity at Mankato from 1993 until 1998. Huseby also previously served in various posts at the department=s Central Office in St. Paul and its Metro Division. A native of Montevideo, Huseby earned a bachelor=s degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University in 1983. He is married to Debbie Huseby and they have two children, Megan and Matthew. |
