MANKATO, Minn. – (1:30 p.m.) The northbound lanes of Highway 169 at the interchange with Highway 14 in Mankato will be closing for approximately 2 hours around 2 p.m. today as MnDOT crews inspect a beam damaged by an excavator earlier today.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes such as Highway 22 or 3rd Avenue.

The results of the inspection will determine if any additional lane restrictions will be required.
