Expect delays for road maintenance on Hwy 93 near Le Sueur, Hwy 5 near Green Isle starting August 13
MANKATO, Minn. – Motorists can expect delays on Highway 93 from Highway 169 to the Minnesota River Bridge near Le Sueur as crews seal coat the road on Monday, August 13. The operation will then move to Highway 5 from Green Isle to Gaylord August 14 – 16, weather permitting.
Highway 93 and Highway 5 traffic may encounter loose rock on the road and should anticipate lane closures during operations. Traffic will be controlled with a pilot car and flaggers.
Seal coat is a preventative maintenance application, extending the life of the pavement. It provides a protective layer, reducing deterioration due to sun and moisture.
MnDOT urges motorists to slow down, drive with caution and watch for workers, equipment and traffic control devices.
