Hwy 60 Watonwan County construction open house set for June 11
MANKATO, Minn. — The public is invited to attend an open house on Monday, June 11, to learn about upcoming construction on Hwy 60 from St. James to Hwy 15 in Watonwan County.
The open house is scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 11, in the St. James Community Room at the Princess Theater located at 505 1st Avenue South, St. James. The Minnesota Department of Transportation will provide project information, details about traffic impacts, construction staging maps, and staff on-site to answer questions. No formal presentation is planned.
Construction on Hwy 60 in Watonwan County is part of a two-year project, starting June 18 through fall of 2019. Thirteen miles of Highway 60 from St. James to Hwy 15 will be resurfaced, and bridges and guardrails will be upgraded.
