Hwy 93 open from Hwy 169 to Le Sueur
MANKATO, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation opened Hwy 93 from Hwy 169 to Le Sueur at 8:45 a.m. This stretch of Hwy 93 was closed since June 25 due to flooding of the Minnesota River.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution as crews continue to work off the shoulder and stabilize the surrounding area.
While Hwy 93 from Hwy 169 to Le Sueur has opened, other road closures due to flooding of the Minnesota River are still in effect, including:
- Hwy 19 east of Henderson (closed June 23)
- Hwy 93 from Hwy 169 to Henderson (closed June 24)
Motorists should seek alternate routes for these two closures, as the roads will remain closed until the water level recedes and crews can inspect for safe operations.
Motorists should check road conditions at www.511mn.org.
