Orange barrels on a highway

Hwy 66 to open to traffic by 5 p.m.


MANKATO, Minn. –  The section of Hwy 66 south of Mankato that closed on May 1 will open to traffic by 5 p.m. today, May 7, according to MnDOT officials.

Motorists are advised of a gravel section where a damaged culvert was replaced on the hill about two miles south of Blue Earth County Road 90.  The section is marked with barrels and a bump sign.  The road will be patched when weather allows.
