Expect delays again overnight on Hwy 14 project in North Mankato July 24

Crews to ready bridge for construction

MANKATO, Minn. – Nighttime motorists on Hwy 14 in North Mankato are advised to expect delays beginning at 7 p.m., Wednesday July 24 as crews move in forms for construction on the Nicollet County Road 41 bridge over Hwy 14.

The installation of forms and false work will require detouring Hwy 14 traffic onto the gravel ramps at the interchange under construction.  Traffic will be controlled with a pilot car and flagging operation. Motorists are asked to remain alert and drive with caution.

To enhance overall safety, bridge beams were set on Monday night in similar conditions.

This is the second year of the Hwy 14/County Road 41 project and it will be complete this fall.
