Hwy 15 resurfacing from New Ulm to Winthrop resumes June 28
MANKATO, Minn. – Hwy 15 motorists should expect brief delays between New Ulm and Winthrop beginning June 28 as crews apply the top surface to the roadway.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution through the work zone and watch for workers, equipment and traffic control devices until the resurfacing is complete in about two weeks.
The project, which began late last construction season, consists of a mill and overlay of the driving surface as well as improvements to the shoulders and guardrail resulting in a smoother and safer ride for the public. A final seal coat will be applied later this summer.
Central Specialties, Inc. of Alexandria is the contractor on the $6,628,866 project.
