Stalled train closes Hwy 19 east of Gaylord

Motorists should seek alternate route or use detour

 

MANKATO, Minn. — (8:30 a.m.) Highway 19 east of Gaylord is closed due to a train with mechanical difficulty blocking the highway.

 

Motorists are advised to use Highway 5 via a detour using Sibley County Road 13.

 

Highway 19 has been closed since around 8 a.m. and will remain closed until further notice.
