Hwy 23 project in Rock County delayed until 2013
Contract award delayed
MANKATO, Minn. – The Hwy 23 reconstruction from Interstate 90 to Jasper has been delayed until 2013, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The “determination of award” for the Hwy 23 project, which was scheduled to begin July 9, has been delayed and will result in postponing the start of construction until the 2013 construction season.
The Hwy 23 project was let to bidders on May 18. Five contractors bid on the project with the lowest bid total at $9,514,911.70. PCI Roads, LLC is the apparent low bidder.
No other information can be provided at this time, as bid information is confidential until the contract has been awarded.
