Hwy 13 safety project at Montgomery-Lonsdale High School begins July 9
Motorists can expect brief delays
MANKATO, Minn. – Motorists can expect brief delays and lane restrictions on Hwy 13 at Montgomery-Lonsdale High School beginning July 9 as crews construct additional turn lanes, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The safety improvement project includes adding a right turn lane and a left turn lane at the entrance to the high school, as well as accessibility improvements to the sidewalk. The project should be complete by late August.
Motorists are advised to slow down and use caution in the work zone as construction will require flagging operations at times.
Heselton Construction of Faribault is the contractor on the $876,221 project.
The project will improve safety and pedestrian accommodations.
