MANKATO, Minn. – Mankato area motorists are advised to watch for crews replacing the large overhead signs on Hwy 14 and Hwy 169 in the Mankato area beginning May 14, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Motorists can expect short-term (two to four hours), daytime lane and ramp closures for about two weeks.
MnDOT has retained a contractor to replace the face of the large over-the-highway signs. These signs are replaced every 15 to 20 years.
The traveling public is encouraged to slow down and use caution where they see orange.
