Hwy 83 to open at 4 p.m. Nov. 11
MANKATO, Minn. - Motorists will be able to finally travel on Hwy 83 from Mankato to Hwy 30 after 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Hwy 83 has been closed to traffic since June as the project experienced delays due to the state government shutdown.
MnDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this lengthy project.
Work included resurfacing the pavement as well as minor culvert and guardrail improvements. Motorists will experience a smoother, safer ride.
