Hwy 258 closing Oct. 31 for bridge repairs
MANKATO, Minn. – Highway 258 motorists will be detoured to county roads the week of Oct. 31 to Nov. 4 so that crews can make repairs to the high truss steel bridge two miles south of Highway 14.
Motorists will be detoured to Brown County Road 24, Brown County Road 5 and Highway 14 beginning Monday, Oct. 31. The bridge workers plan to have the bridge deck joint repairs complete on Friday, Nov. 4.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation plans to replace the Highway 258 Bridge next year.
