Hwy 30 to open from Amboy to Mapleton Oct. 24
Hwy 83 from Mankato to Hwy 30 expected to open in early November
MANKATO, Minn. – Motorists can travel on Hwy 30 from Amboy to Mapleton beginning Monday, Oct. 24, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Hwy 30 has been closed to traffic since June 6, and the project experienced delays due to the state government shutdown.
Work included restoring or resurfacing the pavement as well as minor culvert and guardrail improvements. Motorists will experience a smoother, safer ride.
MnDOT officials expect Hwy 83 from Mankato to Hwy 30 to open in early November, weather permitting.
