Minor repairs set for Hwy 30 and Hwy 62
Hwy 30 bridge detour removed by Sept. 23
MANKATO, Minn. – Motorists are advised of brief delays and to watch for construction workers on Hwy 30 and Hwy 62 during daylight hours in late September and early October for minor resurfacing projects.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and a pilot car on Hwy 62 from Fulda to one and a half miles east and then on Hwy 30 from Cottonwood County Road 7 to one and a half miles at Westbrook.
Knife River Corporation is the contractor on the $363,362 project.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation expects the detour for the Hwy 30 Bridge over the Watonwan River to be removed by late this week.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
