Hwy 30 detoured next week for bridge replacement
MANKATO, Minn. - Hwy 30 motorists west of Darfur will be detoured to local roads beginning the week of Aug. 22 as crews replace a bridge.
Hwy 30 traffic will be detoured to Cottonwood County Road 2, County Road 10 and County Road 1. The detour adds eight miles and will remain in place until the completion of the project in mid-October.
The bridge is located five miles west of Darfur and will be replaced with a box culvert. The project was initially scheduled for July and August, but was delayed due to the state government shutdown.
