Hwy 4 bridge replacement restarts Aug. 15
Detour to county roads extended to October
MANKATO, Minn. – The Hwy 4 bridge replacement south of Sleepy Eye will restart on Monday, Aug. 15, after a six-week delay triggered by the Minnesota government shutdown.
Traffic continues to be detoured to Brown County Road 18, County Road 8 and County Road 24 until late October.
The project is replacing the Hwy 4 bridge over the Little Cottonwood River. Duininck, Inc, of Prinsburg, is the primary contractor on the project.
