Hwy 270 bridge replacement project begins Aug. 22
Traffic detoured to local roads
MANKATO, Minn. – Motorists on Hwy 270 in Rock County will be detoured during a bridge replacement project over Mud Creek beginning Monday, Aug. 22, until mid-October.
The bridge is located about one mile east of Hills.
The detour uses Rock County Road 6, Rock County Road 4 and Rock County Road 11 and adds approximately 13 miles to the drive.
Duininck Brothers Construction of Prinsburg, Minn., is the primary contractor of the $582,236 project.
