Road preservation project slated for Hwy 68
MANKATO, Minn. – Motorists should plan for traffic restrictions and brief delays on Hwy 68 beginning Monday, June 20, as crews complete seal coating preventive maintenance.
This work will extend the life of the pavement surface on 22 miles of Hwy 68 from New Ulm to Mankato.
During the work, a pilot car and flaggers will control traffic, and motorists should plan for daily lane closures in the area where crews are working. Drivers are urged to slow down and be alert for loose gravel and oil spraying in these areas. Crews will be working during daylight hours.
The work is expected to be complete by early July, weather permitting.
