Hwy 4 bridge replacement begins May 31
Traffic detoured to county roads
MANKATO, Minn. – Hwy 4 traffic south of Sleepy Eye will be detoured beginning May 31 as crews start work on a bridge construction project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Traffic will be detoured to Brown County Roads 18, County Road 8 and County Road 24 until September.
The Hwy 4 bridge over the Little Cottonwood River will be replaced. Duininck Inc, of Prinsburg is the primary contractor on the project.
