New Ulm Quarry blasting causes brief delays on Hwy 14
MANKATO, Minn. – Motorists may experience brief delays on Hwy 14 near the New Ulm Quartzite Quarry throughout the summer.
The quarry’s operations require flaggers to stop traffic on Hwy 14 during and shortly after blasts. Traffic will resume after crews ensure the road is clear of debris. Periodic delays will last approximately five minutes.
This operation is on an as-needed basis.
