Weight restrictions effective on Highway 93 from Highway 169 to Henderson beginning April 5
MANKATO, Minn.- (3:20 PM) Vehicles weighing more than seven tons are prohibited from using Highway 93 from Highway 169 to Henderson beginning at 8 a.m. on April 5, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
This section of roadway had been closed to all vehicles from March 17 to April 2 due to flooding. The roadbed beneath the pavement is still saturated and weight restrictions will be lifted when the roadbed dries sufficiently to avoid damage to the road.
