Northbound Highway 169 near LeSueur opens
MANKATO, Minn. – (3:30 p.m.) Motorists can resume travel on Highway 169 near LeSueur when both northbound lanes open later today. Crews are completing temporary repairs to the Sibley County Road 8 bridge.
Highway 93 at the junction with Highway 112 in LeSueur and Sibley County Road 8 at Highway 169 will remain closed for a few more days until traffic control can be put in place. The controls will keep traffic from traveling over the outside beam that was damaged when large equipment struck it earlier this week.
Mn/DOT staff is readying plans and a contract for permanent repairs.
