Highway 19 at Winthrop detoured Aug. 31
Location: Highway 19 at the east edge of Winthrop (between the city and ethanol plant).
Timeframe: Aug. 31 to mid-November.
Traffic Impact Traffic detoured to Highway 15, Sibley County 10 and Sibley County 4.
Project information: The project consists of turn lane construction for the new industrial park at the east edge of Winthrop. The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to plan ahead, watch for detour signs and be alert for workers in the work zone.
