Highway 169 informational meeting in St. Peter set for March 5
MANKATO, Minn. - Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend an informational meeting on the reconstruction of Highway 169 through St. Peter on Thursday, March 5, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Senior Center in the St. Peter Community Center, 600 South 5th Street.
Mn/DOT and city staff will be present to talk with visitors and address their individual concerns.
The Highway 169 reconstruction project in St. Peter was selected for economic recovery funding and may begin as early as May or June this year.
The project consists of a traffic signal at the south junction with Highway 22, resurfacing from Highway 22 to Jefferson and reconstruction from Jefferson to Chestnut. The reconstruction area includes utility work, raised medians, pedestrian bump-outs and landscaping.
