Waseca County Road 5 closing Sept. 29 for Highway 14 expansion
Location:
Waseca County Road 5 between 340th Avenue to the south Waseca City limits (1/2 miles north of the 90 degree curve)
Timeframe:
Closure begins Monday, Sept. 29, until fall 2009
Traffic Impact:
- There will be no signed detour; motorists will need to find alternate routes.
- Waseca County Road 4 will remain open at all times.
- Highway 13 will remain open until spring 2009.
- 139th Street and 345th Avenue (near Woodville subdivision) will remain open.
Project information:
Waseca area road closures are necessary to continue the four-lane expansion of Highway 14 around the south edge of Waseca. Project began in July 2008 and is expected to be complete in three years.
