Mankato, Minn. – As early as July 5, Highway 4 north of Sleepy Eye may be under construction, according to Ken Janovsky, project supervisor at the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Traffic will be controlled with pilot cars and flag people. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution in the work zones.
The project, which consists of a mill and overlay from north of Sleepy Eye to State Highway 68, is expected to be completed in about one week, weather permitting.
The primary contractor is Central Specialties from Alexandria, who bid $337,000.
