Mankato, Minn. - Five bridges along Interstate 90 in southwestern Minnesota are scheduled for repair work that will restrict traffic to one lane each way, according to Ken Janovsky, project supervisor at the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The bridge work is expected to begin in early July and last about four weeks.
Two I-90 bridges are located by Sherburn in Martin County. One bridge is Nobles County Road 13 over I-90 by Rushmore. And the remaining two I-90 bridges are by Luverne over the Rock River and Rock County Road 9.
Motorists are advised to slow down and pay attention when driving through the work zones.
Progressive Contractors, Incorporated of St. Michael is the primary contractor for the $872,000 project. The repair work includes replacing the approach panels.
