Mankato, Minn. - An open house to review the recommended improvements to State Highway 19 in New Prague will be offered from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28 at the New Prague Public Library on Main Street.

Mn/DOT officials will be on hand to talk about improvements between Scott County Road 37/10th Street and Alton Avenue. A combination of traffic signals, channelization with medians and roundabouts are all being proposed. The Highway 19 intersections with Chalupsky Avenue and Alton Ave are the sites for roundabouts.

A project is currently scheduled for 2007. Interested residents, property owners and business managers are encouraged to come and review. Anyone with special needs should contact Rebecca Arndt at 1-800-657-3747.
