Mankato, Minn. - Motorists are advised to drive with extreme caution on State Highway 19 between Gaylord and Henderson beginning, Monday, September 25.
Construction crews will be resurfacing Highway 19 and are concerned about the limited visibility on the relatively narrow, winding and hilly roadway. Traffic for the construction work zone will be managed with flagging operations. Mn/DOT reminds motorists to be alert for workers, equipment and traffic control devices in all work zones.
The project, which consists of a mill, overlay and guardrail repair, is expected to take three weeks (weather permitting).
Southern Minnesota Construction of Mankato was awarded the project with a bid of $1,218,156.
