Mankato, Minn. – An open house to consider a variety of possible improvements to State Highway 19 in New Prague will be offered from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23 at the New Prague Public Library on Main Street.

Mn/DOT officials will be on hand to talk about potential improvements between Scott County Road 37/10th Street and Alton Avenue.  Concepts such as traffic signals, channelization with medians and roundabouts are all being considered.

A project is currently scheduled for 2007.  Interested residents, property owners and business managers are encouraged to come and provide input.  Anyone with special needs should contact Rebecca Arndt at 1-800-657-3747.
