Mankato, Minn.
- A snowplow weighs 17 times more than your car. In a collision,
it will "win." That is the key message to an exhibit
of state, county and city snowplows, law enforcement and emergency
vehicles scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 12 in front
of the Intergovernmental Center on Hickory Street in Mankato.
Everyone is
encouraged to stop by and see up close snowplow trucks used by
the City of Mankato, Blue Earth County and the Minnesota Department
of Transportation. State Patrol and the Red Cross will also be
present to reinforce winter safety on the road. (If inclement
weather, the exhibit will be canceled.)
November 8-12
