Expect delays on Highway 4
for joint repair work

Mankato, Minn. - Motorists on State Highway 4 from west of Sherburn to Ormsby should expect delays beginning Monday, July 19, according to Robert Williams, project engineer at the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Highway 4 from Martin County Road 26 two miles west of Sherburn to Martin County Road 8 at Ormsby will be under construction for joint repair work for one to two weeks.

Motorists should slow down and drive with caution through the work zones. Watch for workers, equipment and traffic control devices.

Mn/DOT plans to resurface Highway 4 in 2005. The joint repair work is in preparation for the resurfacing.

Southern Minnesota Construction of Mankato was awarded the project with a bid of $106,659.
