Mankato, Minn. - State Highway 4 south of Sleepy Eye will be detoured beginning the week of June 14, to accommodate the replacement of a bridge over a ditch, according to Robert Williams, project engineer at the Minnesota Department of Transportation in Windom.

The bridge being replaced with a double box culvert is about nine miles south of Sleepy Eye, near Brown County Highway 20. Traffic will be detoured to Brown County Highway 20 and 10 for about four weeks if weather permits.

Mathiowetz Construction Company of Sleepy Eye was awarded the project with a bid of $222,668.
