ALBERT LEA, Minn. — The public is invited to attend a coffee and conversation session on transportation on Wednesday, Oct. 16 in Albert Lea with the Minnesota Department of Transportation and its partners Freeborn County and the city of Albert Lea.
The gathering is from 9-10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 16 at The Interchange, 211 South Broadway in Albert Lea.
Interested residents may stop by for coffee and cookies, and talk with Mark Schoenfelder, district engineer for MnDOT’s southeast Minnesota District 6, Sue Miller, Freeborn County engineer, and Steve Jahnke, Albert Lea city engineer.
A short presentation on transportation projects in the area will be made, but much of the time will be left for residents to ask questions and learn about transportation efforts and challenges in the city, county and southeast Minnesota.
