Bridge repair work starts Aug. 6 on Hwy 30 in Pilot Mound
PILOT MOUND, Minn. — Motorists can expect short delays on Hwy 30 at Pilot Mound in Fillmore County beginning Monday, Aug. 6 as crews repair bridge approach panels, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Eastbound and westbound traffic on Hwy 30 will be stopped by stop signs at the bridge and motorists will take turns crossing the bridge during construction. Short traffic delays are expected. Motorists should seek alternate routes to avoid the brief stops in traffic.
Crews are repairing the east approach panels on Bridge #23019 in Pilot Mound. The site on Hwy 30 is between Rushford and Chatfield. Construction is expected to be completed by Thursday, Aug. 16.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
