Eastbound I-90 rest area near St. Charles to close for a few hours for utility switchover
ROCHESTER, Minn. – The eastbound Interstate 90 rest area east of St. Charles, Minnesota, will be temporarily closed Thursday morning, Sept. 1, while electrical utilities are changed over, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The Enterprise Rest Area at milemarker 244 will be closed to motorists beginning at 10:30 a.m., Sept. 1. The work is expected to take several hours and the rest area will reopen in early afternoon once the work is completed. Crews will be switching over the electrical utility.
The rest is about 10 miles east of St. Charles.

MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
