Interstate 90 bridge repairs to restrict lanes east of Lewiston
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Westbound Interstate 90 motorists near Lewiston will encounter lane restrictions beginning Aug. 9 as Minnesota Department of Transportation crews repair bridge railings.
On I-90 westbound, motorists will see single lane restrictions while crews are upgrading the bridge railing. The project, between exits 242 and 249 about two miles east of Lewiston, is expected to be completed by Sept. 1, weather permitting. Similar work is being completed on the eastbound bridge, so workers will shift the work zone to the westbound bridge.
Motorists should always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
