Detour ends for Hwy 63 Spring Valley concrete repair, construction continues
ROCHESTER, Minn. — The detour for southbound Highway 63 motorists in Spring Valley has ended, but motorists should remain alert while construction continues on the concrete pavement repair and curb ramp improvement project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The detour on Highway 63 through Spring Valley for southbound traffic was lifted on May 10. It had been in effect for two weeks during the repairs.
The contractor, Chippewa Concrete Services, is repairing the concrete roadway in Spring Valley, as well as completing ADA curb ramp improvements and catch basin repairs. project is scheduled to be complete by Friday, May 20, weather permitting.
