U.S. Fish & Wildlife boat ramp at Dresbach Bridge to close March 21

ROCHESTER, Minn. – The U.S. Fish & Wildlife boat ramp and road will be closed Monday, March 21 for construction work nearby on the Dresbach Bridge, near the Dresbach Bridge project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The closure will continue into fall of this year and reopen after bridge demolition is completed.

The $187.5 million river bridge project is entering its final year. Completion is expected in fall 2016.

The Dresbach Bridge project is a cooperative effort between the Minnesota and Wisconsin departments of transportation and will continue into the fall. The project includes constructing a new I-90 crossing over the Mississippi River and reconstructing the Highway 61/14 and the I-90 interchange.

MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
