Orange barrels on a highway

I-90 construction in Winona County begins

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists can expect single lane traffic on Interstate 90 between Hwy 76 and exit 266 at Nodine as crews work on a concrete overlay project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The approximately 8-mile project, which began this week, includes concrete overlay on the eastbound lanes and bridge work. Eastbound traffic will be moved to the westbound lanes, so motorists can expect single lane traffic in both directions because of the construction work. There is an 11-foot width limit in effect.
When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer Hwy.

PCI Roads, LLC is the prime contractor for the $9.9 million project. The project is scheduled for completion on Oct. 3.
