Winona Bridge community outreach meeting to be held June 19
ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be holding a public outreach meeting on Thursday, June 19 to review the Winona Bridge project-related community goals collected from the March 27 community meeting, discuss recommendations to help achieve the goals, and to define risks to achieving the goals.
The meeting will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., June 19 at Wanek Hall, Winona Historical Center, 160 Johnson Street, Winona, MN 55987.
"I encourage anyone with an interest in this project to attend the meeting,” said Winona Mayor Mark Peterson. “MnDOT has done an excellent job of keeping the council and community informed."
As previously announced, MnDOT is also holding a business-oriented public meeting 9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, May 20 for Winona area vendors to meet with the Ames Construction team. This meeting is directed toward vendors such as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, Targeted Business Group and veterans who want to see what opportunities are available for them to quote portions of the work or to supply materials.
