I-90 construction in Mower County begins April 22

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 90 between Highway 105 and Mower County Road 19 beginning Monday, April 22, weather permitting, when crews begin concrete repair work.

The project includes concrete pavement repairs on the eastbound and westbound lanes, shoulder resurfacing and storm sewer repairs.

When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway.

PCI Roads, LLC is the prime contractor for the $7.6 million project.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
