Highway 58 paving from Zumbrota to Red Wing begins week of June 3
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists will experience single-lane traffic on Highway 58 between Zumbrota and Red Wing as crews begin resurfacing the road beginning the week of June 3.
Flaggers will control traffic throughout the project, which is scheduled to continue through early September, weather permitting.
When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway with new guardrail and pedestrian accessibility improvements.
Rochester Sand and Gravel, a division of Mathy Construction, is the prime contractor for the $5.8 million project.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
