Ramp closure also in effect
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Motorists will encounter closures on the right and center lanes of southbound Highway 52 at the Highway 14 bridge Thursday, Oct. 10, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The lane closures will begin at 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The ramp from southbound Highway 52 to eastbound Highway 14 will also be closed during this time.
The northbound Highway 52 right and center lanes will close on Friday, Oct. 11 from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The closures are part of the Highway 14 bridge replacement project, and are necessary as crews add a surface finish to the bridge.
Ames Construction is the prime contractor for the bridge replacement project.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
